In the context of courses which give professional training to the students, the IPSIA G. Fascetti Institute of Pisa has designed a didactic plan on robotics. Aim of the project is to give students an appropriate level of knowledge on emerging technologies from both a theoretic and practical point of view. To build a mini-robot, in fact, specific skills on hardware system management and a correct use of advanced hardware and software packages are required. This project gets the students familiar with methods and tools of the modern applied electronics.

The Institute has trained a team of students who have already produced some prototypes of robots. This has given the Institute IPSIA the chanche to organize and participate to competitions on robotics at national level. In a short while, a complete project with full details of a mini-robot will be issued on these pages. So, who is interested in robotics, will be able to build a mini-robot on his own.
